Fiorentina are the latest side to be linked with a move for Hellas Verona’s 23-year-old midfielder Jacopo Sala.

The former Chelsea and Hamburg player is also reportedly under observation from Genoa, Roma and Inter.

According to the Corriere di Verona, the Viola have joined the queue of sides interested in signing Sala, although the Gialloblu’s sporting director Riccardo Bigon previously stated that no side has yet made an acceptable offer for the 23-year-old despite the number of interested parties.

Sala’s contract with Hellas will expire in an under a year and the Scaligeri are reportedly willing to allow him to leave for a fee of around €5 million in the summer to avoid losing the versatile midfielder for nothing at the end of the 2015-16 season.

Sala made 16 appearances for Verona and scored two goals during the 2014-15 Serie A season as he struggled with muscular injuries and he often featured at full-back in the second half of the season as the Mastini secured survival.
