Former Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni could become the new coach of Olympiakos.

The 39-year-old is currently out of work after being sacked by the Zebrette at the end of a poor 2014/15 Serie A season, which saw the club finish in 16th place in the league table, but Greek side Olympiakos could look to him following the departure of Vitor Pereira to Fenerbahce.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported the link, but the former Inter coach is apparently yet to be convinced by the deal, while GianlucaDiMarzio reports that negotiations are already underway.

Olympiakos finished top of the table in the Greek Superleague last season, which means Stramaccioni would also be in charge of a team competing in the Champions League.

Before joining Udinese in 2014, he was on the bench of the Nerazzurri after taking over from Claudio Ranieri in March 2012, but was sacked at the end of the next season after failing to qualify for Europe.
