Galatasaray are interested in landing out of favour Inter midfielder Saphir Taider.
The Algerian international, who was part of his country’s successful run to the last 16 at last summer’s World Cup, endured a sputtering start to his 2014-2015 season with a loan move to Southampton being cut short without an appearance being made, before playing out the season on loan at Sassuolo.
Gazzetta.tv report that the 23-year-old could well move to Istanbul, with the attraction of Champions League football at the newly crowned Turkish champions, but he could also spend another season at Sassuolo as part of a deal which could take Nicola Sansone to Inter.
After joining Inter in 2013 from Bologna, Taider struggled to hold down a regular place under Walter Mazzarri and he now seems surplus to requirements at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza under current coach Roberto Mancini.
