Guidolin - UdineseFormer Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has revealed that he has rejected the advances of Napoli during his coaching career on two occasions.

Guidolin also announced that he is ready to get back into football after leaving his job at Udinese a year ago.

“There were two times when Napoli asked if I wanted to join them, but I declined as I wanted to stay at Udinese,” Guidolin said in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I am still young when it comes to coaching so I am sure I will have many more opportunities in the future.

“I have recharged my batteries in the last year and now I am ready to return to work.

“The period of rest has served me well and now I want to get back to the day job.

“During my period away I have had offers but none of them have been right for me.”
