Hamburg midfielder Valon Behrami is being linked with a return to former club Napoli in the summer.
The 30-year-old Swiss international only left the Partonopei last summer after falling out with then-coach Rafa Benitez, but is said to be keen on a return after only one season in the Bundesliga.
Bild reports that Napoli boss Aurelio De Laurentiis is keen to fulfill the player’s wish, and may offer Hamburg €3.5 million to convince them to part ways with the tigerish midfielder.
The Bundesliga club, who just survived relegation by virtue of a play-off, are in for another summer of restructuring and may offload one of their highest earners.
Behrami made 22 league appearances for Hamburg this season.
