Chelsea loanee Mohamed Salah must make a decision regarding whether he will still be playing football at Fiorentina in the 2015-16 season.

After being awarded the SAFP Golden Player award by the Swiss Super League in 2013, the 23-year-old Egyptian winger signed for Chelsea in January 2014 but only made three league appearances for the Blues before he was loaned to the Gigliati in February 2015 with Juan Cuadrado moving the other direction

According to Sport Italia, Fiorentina have agreed with Chelsea to exercise the option to take Salah on loan again for a fee of €1 million, but face competition from Inter in acquiring the player.

The Nerazzurri have tabled an offer which could see Salah earn €3m plus bonuses annually, if Fiorentina were to match this offer it would see the Egyptian become the club’s second highest earner behind Mario Gomez who currently earns €4.2m annually.

It is thought that West Ham United are also monitoring the situation with the Premier League side also interested in the prospect of a potential loan move.

Salah scored six goals and provided three assists from 16 appearances for the Viola after joining in January during the 2014-15 Serie A season.
