Inter are ready to step up their efforts to sign Sassuolo forward Nicola Sansone in the summer.
The 23-year-old Italian youth international has enjoyed another encouraging season with the Neroverdi, and admitted this week that a move to the Nerazzurri would be a ‘dream’.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter will attempt to prise the youngster away from Sassuolo this summer, and are ready to open negotiations with the club.
Inter believe that Algerian international Saphir Taider, on loan at Sassuolo this season from Inter, could be the key to the move.
Taider, who has a €5.5 million buyout clause in his loan deal, could be used in exchange to sweeten the deal by the Nerazzurri.
