Inter are hoping to bolster their squad by signing Barcelona right-back Martin Montoya and re-signing Thiago Motta from Paris Saint-Germain.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini is keen on bolstering his full-back position and the signing of Montoya would fill that gap.

La Gazzetta Dello Sport are reporting that the 24-year-old looks surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou — with Dani Alves resigning for Barcelona and the recent purchase of Sevilla full-back Aleix Vidal — and that Barcelona would be open to a loan move for Montoya.

The Italian media also report of Inter’s interest in bringing back Thiago Motta to the club, who remains under contract with PSG. The Italian international won the Champions League with Inter back in 2010.
