Inter are preparing not only a swoop for Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo, but also his team-mate and goal-machine Burak Yilmaz.

The 29-year-old Turkish international has enjoyed another prolific campaign at the Turk Telecom Arena, and his form has once again drew admiring glances from around Europe.

Sky Sport Italia report that Yilmaz’s agent is currently in Italy to discuss a possible transfer to the Serie A for his client in the summer.

The Nerazzurri could sign the player in a package along with Melo, but will need to part with a large sum of money to convince the Turkish giants to sell their prized front-man.

Lazio are also long-time admirers and were close to nabbing Yilmaz last summer, before a move broke down at the last moment.

Yilmaz hit 22 goals in 36 appearances this season for Galatasaray in all competitions.
