Inter continue to search for a new striker and have targeted Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez as a possible signing ahead of the 2015/16 season.

The recently turned 27-year-old has returned to Manchester United following his loan at Real Madrid, and it seems United boss Louis van Gaal has no interest at keeping him at Old Trafford.

According to Tuttosport, Inter coach Roberto Mancini wants to find a new striking partner for Mauro Icardi at Inter and the Mexican is being touted as the desired target.

Getting a hold of the forward appears to more accessible than Genoa’s Diego Perotti, as the Grifone have slapped a €13 million price tag on the Argentine.

A reported figure of €15m would be needed to sign Hernandez, but the services of Samir Handanovic could be used in a swap deal in order to land the forward.

Hernandez appeared in 23 La Liga matches for Real Madrid last season, scoring seven times.
