Serie A side Inter are interested in bringing back defender Aleksander Kolarov to Italy.

The Serbian international spent three seasons at Lazio before being snapped up by current Nerazzurri coach Roberto Mancini at Manchester City, in 2010.

Kolarov has struggled to hold down a regular place in the starting line up with the English Premier League outfit this season and Sky Sport Italia are reporting that Inter’s sporting director, Piero Ausilio, is meeting with City officials and is keen to capture the 29-year-old, although both clubs are currently too far apart in their valuation of the player.

Mancini is keen to be reunited with Kolarov, a player he won the FA Cup and the Premier League title with in England, and who feels will add competition at left full back.
