Andrea Pirlo’s stay at Juventus looks to be over as his son told classmates he will be leaving for New York City FC.
The 36-year-old has just come off the back of anther successful season with Juventus, winning the Serie A title and Coppa Italia, while also reaching the Champions League final.
According to the Sport Mediaset, Pirlo has invested in an apartment in the Tribeca area of New York City, and will receive a salary of €12 million a season.
It has also been reported that his son, on the last day of school, told friends that he is leaving to go to New York.
Pirlo made 20 Serie A appearances last season, bagging four goals and five assists.
