Juventus v LazioLazio have shown their desire to keep veteran Miroslav Klose at the club, with the striker being the first to turn up for his medical examination before the start of pre-season training.

Klose was expected to retire at the completion of the season, before he signed a one year extension earlier this month. The decision came after the 38-year-old had a standout campaign for the Biancocelesti as top goal scorer, netting 13 goals.

According to LaLazioSiamoNoi.it, Klose has already completed his medical tests for the 2015/16 season with no problems whatsoever. He was the first player on the Lazio list to attend the examination this year, having made his way to the club’s training centre in Formello in recent days.

Klose is said to have shown the best possible condition for the start of pre-season.

All other players in the squad will be called to complete their fitness checks from the 6th to the 9th of July.
