Lazio midfielder Lorik Cana has expressed his desire to leave the club during the summer.

The Albanian international joined the Biancocelesti in 2011 but has said he wants to end his time at the Stadio Olimpico, and that he will take any offers into account after speaking to the club’s sporting director, Igli Tare, and the coach, Stefano Pioli.

“If I found something interesting then I would leave Lazio,” the 31-year-old told Top Channel.

“I spoke with Igli before the season ended and I will speak with him again and the coach, but I am confident that eventually a solution will be found that will satisfy everyone.”

Cana also specified which particular type of club would interest him, saying which major championships he likes the look of.

“I would like to play in another major league, I like Germany but am also attracted by the United States.”
