Lazio have targeted Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva as the ideal replacement for Lucas Biglia.
The 26-year-old Portuguese international graduated through the famed Sporting youth system to become an important member of the Portuguese giants in the past few years.
Nicknamed O Maestro for his technical quality, the talented midfielder has also forced himself into reckoning for a starting spot in the national team.
According to Il Messaggero, Lazio have identified a number of players to compensate for the probable departure of Biglia who is interesting a number of top European sides.
These names include Mainz general Johannes Geis, Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Granit Xhaka and Feyenoord man Jordy Clasie.
A new name has entered into Lazio director Igli Tare’s calculations in recent times however, which is Adrien Silva, who he sees as an alternative to the aforementioned names.
Adrien netted 10 goals in 40 appearances this season across all competitions.
