Lazio have turned their attention to Sampdoria ace Roberto Soriano in a bid to solve their midfield dilemma.
The 24-year-old Italian international enjoyed a great campaign with the Blucerchiati, even managing to establish himself as a regular in the Azzurri set-up under Antonio Conte.
Corriere della Sera report that Lazio have undertaken a world-wide search to scour for replacements for the probable departure of midfield general Lucas Biglia in the summer.
Their latest target is €10 million-rated Sampdoria ace Soriano who they believe is an ideal replacement for the Argentinian international.
In their proposal, they could offer defender Stefan Radu, who has been unable to come to an agreement with the club on a new deal, in part-exchange to sweeten the deal.
The Romanian international played under new Sampdoria coach Walter Zenga in 2007 when the duo were at Dinamo Bucharest together and could reunite several years later.
