Claudio Marchisio is relaxed about his future at Juventus, despite talks over a contract renewal for the midfielder having stalled.

The 29-year-old enjoyed another successful season for the Italian champions but, with only a year left to run on his current deal, the Italian international is attracting interest from abroad.

His father and agent, Stefano Marchisio, told calciomercato.it that an extension until June 2019 had already been broadly agreed but that he had received calls from Bundesliga and Premier League clubs while waiting to confirm the deal with Juventus.

“There is no hurry over my renewal,” Claudio Marchisio told the press while preparing for Italy’s Euro 2016 qualifier with Croatia.

“We will meet with the club and talk about signing a new deal.”

Marchisio was asked his thoughts on the prospect of Bianconeri coach Massimiliano Allegri signing a new contract and the arrival of German world cup winner Sami Khedira.

“The renewal of Allegri’s contract is important but also would be well deserved,” said the 51-time capped international.

“The club has also done well to sign Khedira, he is young and has won everything.

“He will be a huge asset to us next season.”
