Fabrizio Miccoli has completed a surprising move to Malta, joining Birkirkara from Lecce.
The 35-year-old had spent two seasons with the Lega Pro side Lecce after having left Palermo back in 2013.
The Maltese club’s official website officially announced Miccoli’s arrival via their Twitter account, who will join the club on a one year deal.
Miccoli made 47 appearances and scored 17 goals during his two-year stint with Lecce.
