Napoli are interested in the services of Carpi striker Jerry Mbakogu for next season.

The 22-year-old Nigerian enjoyed a splendid campaign with the table-topping Carpi, netting 15 goals in 30 appearances and has attracted the interest of bigger sides on the peninsula.

Il Mattino report that Napoli have been tracking the Serie B star, and could make a concrete move for him in the summer.

Roma have also been keeping tabs on Mbakogu this season, and could challenge the Partonopei in the coming months as both sides look to reinforce for next season.

Mbakogu started his career at Padova, before spending some time at Juve Stabia, then making a permanent move to Carpi last summer.
