M’Baye Niang does have a future at AC Milan according to Moussa Ndiaye, the player’s agent.

The 20-year-old Frenchman has had loan spells away from the club in the past two seasons, back in his homeland at Montpellier and last season at Genoa, but Ndiaye believes his client is ready to be called on to help Milan’s revival.

“Milan want M’Baye as part of their project for a revival,” he told Tuttomercatoweb.com. “The club have said they are counting on him and this is an important thing for us to hear.”

While, Niang suffered a frustrating time at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza having failed to score in over 30 appearances since joining the Rossoneri from Caen in 2012. Ndiaye also revealed that Milan are looking to extend Niang’s contract.

“There is also the wish of the club to prolong his stay and we are the beginning of negotiations over this,” the agent continued. “Both the player and the club want to move forward together.”
