Edu Vargas - NapoliAgent of Chilean forward Eduardo Vargas, Cristian Ogalde, believes that Napoli have never desired to keep the player at the club, casting doubt on his future by insisting that he might leave in the summer.

The 25-year-old has seen himself become a frequent flyer, with his past few season spent on loan at numerous destinations after joining Napoli in 2012.

His frequent moves have agitated the forward’s agent, who maintains that there exists a lack of respect for his client who has done enough to merit a holding place in the Partenopei’s first team. Ogdale went as far as suggesting that Vargas was merely being toyed with.

“[Walter] Mazzarri [former coach of Napoli] never gave him a chance,” Ogalde stated in an interview to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“He scored last night with the Chilean national team and has always played well. Yet I haven’t heard anything from the club about him, despite the fact he remains their player.

“They [Napoli] have never even wanted to keep hold of him.

“We’ll meet with the club, but after everything he’s been doing recently there will definitely be a lot of teams who want to buy him.”

Vargas is currently competing in the Copa America, and scored two goals in their semi final victory against Peru.
