On-loan Latina star Federico Viviani is set to make the step-up to the Serie A next season, with Palermo reportedly close to signing him.
The 23-year-old Italian youth international spent another season on loan at Latina from Roma, and established himself as one of the best play-makers in the Serie B.
Viviani graduated through the Roma youth system and was heralded as a future star for the capital club, but has taken a little longer to show his potential after loan spells at Padrova, Pescara and now Latina.
According to Sport Italia, Palermo have reached an agreement with Roma that will see the Giallorossi receive €4 million over four years for the services of the talented midfielder.
Palermo intend to use the funds from Paulo Dybala’s transfer to Juventus to stregthen their squad for next season, and Viviani could be set to be their first signing of the summer.
Viviani netted eight goals in 31 appearances for Latina this season in the Serie B.
