Paulo Sousa has set out his wish list ahead of being unveiled as the new Fiorentina coach, with several changes set to be made.

The former Juventus player is tipped to complete his move to the Tuscan club within the coming days and has reportedly already listed his demands for the next season, which could see a revolution in midfield with a multitude of players likely to be replaced.

As reported by La Nazione, Sousa does not view the contract renewals of Alberto Aquilani and David Pizarro as a priority despite both players having only a month remaining on their deals, and thus could see the midfield duo plying their trade at another club come the start of the next campaign.

Instead, the coach is looking for two younger players who can adapt to his style and likely to play alongside Viola favourites Borja Valero and Matias Fernandez, both regarded as essential by the Portuguese tactician

It is also suggested that a new full back on the right hand side is desired, though it remains to be seen if a new name will be brought in with Cristiano Piccini and Facundo Roncaglia set to return from their loan clubs at the end of June, both of which are considered competent at right back.

Meanwhile, the situations of attackers Mohamed Salah and Giuseppe Rossi are to be assessed, the former yet to confirm his future.

A succession of injuries has dampened a bright career for Rossi at the Stadio Artemio Franchi, and despite being a fan favourite, the Italian American could be deemed expendable by Sousa should his injury problems persist.

A final focal point for the coach is that of a goalkeeper, after Norberto Neto opted to move on and veteran Cristiano Lupatelli decided to hang up his boots, leaving the Gigliati short on the shot stopper front.

Current number one Ciprian Tatarusanu could hold his spot between the sticks, though Parma goalkeeper Antonio Mirante is rumoured to be close to the club.
