Sinisa Mihajlovic SampdoriaProspective AC Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has reportedly already stated his intent to raid old club Sampdoria for transfers.

Widespread reports say that the official Rossoneri announcement of the Serbian joining the club is imminent, and now it is apparent that three of Sampdoria’s stars have become transfer priorities.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Blucerchiati midfield man Roberto Soriano was the first name discussed by Mihajlovic in a meeting with AC Milan chiefs Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani, held on Wednesday night.

Other reports have strongly suggested that Sampdoria’s top goalscorer, Eder, and reliable fullback Lorenzo De Silvestri are both targets who have been put forward by the 46-year-old.

However, a swoop for enforcer Pedro Obiang is considered unlikely as the Spaniard has been rumoured elsewhere in recent weeks.

Mihajlovic will be tasked with overseeing significant improvements to Milan’s dismal 10th place finish in the 2014-15 Serie A season, with an immediate return to European competition considered a key specification.
