The agent of Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has stated that Roma are one of the best clubs in Europe, fuelling rumours of a possible move to the Italian capital for the Spanish goalkeeper.
The 34-year-old has been linked with a move away from Los Blancos amidst reports David De Gea will join from Manchester United, and his agent Carlo Cutropia admitted that reports of a possible move to the Giallorossi have pleased his client.
“The only thing I can say is that Roma are a great team, one of the best clubs in Europe,” Cutropia told laroma24.it.
“We are flattered to hear that these rumours exist. We love the city of Rome and the warmth of the Roma fans.”
Casillas has made 725 appearances in all competitions for Real Madrid since debuting for the club back in 1999.
