Italian midfielder Andrea Bertolacci has reportedly joined Roma for a second time.

The former Genoa player has been linked with various sides, including Italian giants AC Milan, after impressive performances last season; but deals with the Giallorossi have reportedly concluded and Bertolacci looks set to join the club.

Roma’s club management announced the signing, bringing in the 24-year-old on a permanent contract after settling the co-owned contract they held with Genoa, for €8.5 million.

Bertolacci had been a Roma player until 2012 before he joined Genoa. During that time he was 50 percent owned by the club from the capital, until now when he leaves the Rossoblu to become a full-fledged Roma player.

The newly inducted Italy international scored 12 times for Genoa in the three years he was at the club, making 88 appearances in all competitions.
