Roma are set to battle Manchester United for Paris Saint-Germain fullback Gregory Van der Wiel over the summer transfer window.
With Manchester United coach Louis Van Gaal in the picture, Roma face tough competition to lure the Dutch right-back to Roma.
According to Le Parisien, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini has already traveled to meet with Van der Wiel’s agent Mino Raiola.
Van der Wiel arrived at PSG in 2012, and has one more year left on his deal with the Ligue 1 champions. The Dutchman has made 72 appearances for PSG, but has struggled to impose himself in the French capital.
