Roma would be monitoring the situation of Inter defender Davide Santon, who is still mulling over a move to Watford.
With Zdravko Kuzmanovic looking unconvinced by Watford, Santon would also be hesitating to move to the newly promoted side, thus opening the door for Roma to swoop in.
The Giallorossi would have already made contacts with Santon, according to LaRoma24.it, with Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini having already met with the player’s entourage.
The 24-year-old defender re-joined Inter on loan from Newcastle, after four seasons in England. Despite Inter redeeming his loan however, the Nerazzurri would now look to offload the Italian given the imminent arrival of Barcelona fullback Martin Montoya.
Santon made nine Serie A appearances for Inter last season, including four in the Europa League.
