Obiang - SampdoriaSampdoria’s Spanish midfielder Pedro Obiang looks set to sign for English Premier League side West Ham United, after rejecting a move to AC Milan.

The 23-year-old had been linked with a switch to the Hammers over the past few weeks and new reports are suggesting that the deal is all but complete.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Obiang has agreed to make the move and is now undergoing a medical before putting pen to paper on his new contract.  The transfer will cost the London-based outfit a fee of €6 million though details of the player’s personal terms have yet to be revealed.

The Spanish U21 star has already featured over 130 times for the Blucerchiati since making his debut back in 2010. He first arrived in Italy in 2008, leaving the youth sector of Atletico Madrid to join the Genoa-based outfit.
