Stefan Radu LazioSampdoria president Massimo Ferrero has hinted that the club will move for Lazio defender Stefan Radu, whilst also confirming a pacy forward is arriving soon.

The charismatic owner was speaking to Radio Radio and spoke at length about the possible transfer plans of the Blucerchiati, as they aim to reinforce their squad for next season.

Romanian international Radu played under new coach Walter Zenga at Dinamo Bucharest in 2007, and has struggled to agree to a new contract with the Albiceleste prompting reports that he could be re-united with Zenga this summer.

“Radu? Great player, I really like him. You’ll see on July 1 when we’ll celebrate when the signings arrive,” Ferrero said.

“Cassano-Pazzini? I do not know what to tell you. We signed [Inter youngster Federico] Bonazzoli, and we are signing another striker, someone who is very fast.

“Eder is not for sale. In football, there always comes a president with a huge offer and suddenly everyone is for sale. But for now, Eder is not.

“I am also trying to keep [Roberto] Soriano, but there is a release clause in his contract.”
