Inter - KondogbiaGeoffrey Kondogbia’s agent Paolo Schiavone spoke about his client joining Inter, clarifying that money was not a factor in choosing the Nerazzurri over AC Milan.

Inter and AC Milan had been locked in a protracted negotiations over the former Monaco midfielder, with the Nerazzurri finally getting the last word and sealing the 22-year-old’s signature.

Schiavone took the time to stress that the player chose Inter of his own will, and chose the Nerazzurri over other more interesting financial propositions.

“It was not just AC Milan and Inter on him,” said Schiavone to FcInter1908.it.

“There was also a lot of interest from England and Spain.

“It is not true that Kondogbia joined the highest bidder; he would have earned more at AC Milan.

“Kondogbia wanted a project that appealed to him and Inter was his choice.

“Unlike what AC Milan have said, it is not true that he had agreement with any other clubs. Kondogbia only wanted Inter.”
