Former Roma striker Pablo Osvaldo is being linked with a sensational return to Serie A to join the Giallorossi’s bitter Eternal City rivals, Lazio.
The turbulent Italian international has moved around a lot in recent seasons, playing for four different clubs since leaving Roma in 2013, namely Southampton, Juventus, Inter and currently Boca Juniors.
According to Deportes Telam, the 29-year-old, who is on loan in Argentina from Southampton, is keen to make another move, with a return to Italy and Serie A being seen as his preferred option.
It is speculated that Osvaldo is looking for a move away from Buenos Aires due to a breakdown of his relationship with partner Jimena Baron, an Argentine singer and actress who was born in the country’s capital.
The striker has had his fair share of clubs throughout his career so far, and has played for 11 different teams since commencing his senior career at Huracan in 2005, with his European adventure beginning at Atalanta a year later in 2006.
