Torino have completed the signing of Cagliari fullback Danilo Avelar, the Granata announced on their official website.
The 26-year-old Brazilian enjoyed a good season with the Sardinians on a personal level, but could not save from being relegated to the Serie B.
“Torino Football Club is delighted to announce that they have acquired outright from Cagliari , the right to the player Danilo Avelar,” a statement read on torinofc.it.
“The contract is a four-year deal.”
The deal also included Granata defender Antonio Barreca going the other way on loan, with an option to buy, but Torino have the option of annulling that option.
Avelar netted four goals in 33 appearances this season.
