Venue for Italy’s Euro 2016 qualifier with Norway announced

Norway v ItalyItaly’s final Euro 2016 qualifying match against Norway will be played in Rome in October.

The Azzurri play Croatia on June 12 in Split before traveling to Qatar to face the Portuguese in a friendly on June 16, and they conclude their qualifying campaign for the 2016 tournament in France in September and October.

Antonio Conte’s men will play Norway on October 13 at the Stadio Olimpico in the Italian capital, which will be preceded by a trip to Azerbaijan on October 10 to play the final away game of the qualifying stage.

Before then, they face Malta and Bulgaria on September 3 and 6 respectively, at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence and the Stadio Renzo Barbera in Palermo.

Italy are currently second in Group H, two points behind the Croats, with Norway, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan and Malta completing the table in that order.
