Vidal - JuventusJuventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has confirmed that team-mate Carlos Tevez wants to return to Argentina to play for boyhood club Boca Juniors.

The striker’s contract expires at the end of next season and he is widely expected to join the Azul y Oro at that point, however rumours have consistently circulated that the 31-year-old wishes to leave before then.

“Tevez had a difficult past like me, which is perhaps why we understand each other,” said Vidal, in an interview with Argentine newspaper Ole.

“Sure, he wants to go back to Boca because it is the club he grew up at, like I did at Colo Colo.”

The Chile international went on to talk about Juve’s chances of beating Barcelona in their upcoming Champions League final clash.

“We can do it, although it will be very difficult,” he said.

“This for us is a perfect year, we won Serie A and the Coppa Italia.

“All we need is the Champions League, our dream.”
