Following the 1-1 draw with Pescara on Tuesday evening that secured promotion to Serie A, Bologna’s fans have been celebrating particularly exuberantly.
After the tense encounter that saw the Rossoblu reach Serie A only because of their previous position in the league table, fans have taken to the streets and piazzas in celebration.
One of the biggest parties was held at the Piazza Maggiore (Main Square) in Bologna, with a huge gathering celebrating the success. A huge crowd gathered to sing, dance and release fireworks to commemorate the night.
Following the final whistle of the draw that sealed the Rossoblu’s promotion, the seats allocated to the board started the party with dancing and singing, and saw their jubilation continued to the city centre thoughout the evening.

Bologna had spent a single season in Serie B, and earned their passage back to Serie A through the playoffs after defeating Avellino and Pescara.
