Watford are trying to convince Inter duo Zdravko Kuzmanovic and Davide Santon to join the club, after having a €10 million bid accepted for the pair.
Kuzmanovic has struggled to gain a regular starting spot at the club since joining from Stuttgart in 2013, and was rumored to be leaving in the summer for a long time.
The possible transfer of Santon is more surprising however, after the player re-joined the Nerazzurri initially on loan in January, then permanently a few months later.
According to Sport Italia, Watford are trying to persuade the pair to make the move to the English Premier League next season, with both players having apparent doubts, especially Santon.
The Hornets had a combined €10 million offer accepted by Inter for the pair, and are expecting an answer from both players in the coming days.
After Inter’s lavish spending spree so far this summer, it is apparent that they need to offload some players in order to balance the books.
