West Ham United are ready to open talks with Juventus over a possible move for defender Angelo Ogbonna.
The 27-year-old looks set to leave the Italian giants after spending most of the last two seasons on the bench for the reigning Serie A champions.
With a potential move to Bologna failing to materialise, The Daily Mirror reports that West Ham are set to open talks with the Bianconeri next week over a potential €17 million move for the Cassino native.
The Hammers will have to fend off interest from Premier League rivals however, as Leicester City and Everton are also reportedly in the mix to land the Juve defender.
Ogbonna joined Juventus from city rivals Torino in 2013 for €13m along with €2m in bonuses.
