Romagnoli - RomaAC Milan have reportedly increased their bid for Roma defender Alessio Romagnoli.

The Rossoneri have been busy in the transfer market and have already brought in three potentially key signings with Andrea Bertolacci, Carlos Bacca and Luiz Adriano.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri have upped their bid for the Italian under-21 international to €25 million. However, the Giallorossi are holding firm with their asking price of €30m and quickly rebuffed the offer.

The centre-back spent last season on loan at Sampdoria and worked under new Milan coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

The Rossoneri have been linked with other defenders such as Torino’s Nikola Maksimovic. However, it is believed that Mihajlovic is determined to sign Romagnoli to strengthen the Milan’s back line.

Romagnoli made 30 appearances for Sampdoria as they finished seventh in Serie A.
