The agent of Liverpool striker Fabio Borini has revealed he has spoken to Fiorentina about the transfer of his client.
Borini joined the Reds from Roma during the summer of 2012, but has struggled to cement a place in the Anfield starting eleven.
The player’s agent, Marco De Marchi, has confirmed the Viola’s interest in securing the services of the former Chelsea youth.
“We have spoken with Fiorentina, but right now there’s no news. There are other offers, for he is an important choice, we want to evaluate everything,” De Marchi told Radio Blu.
“The boy will choose by mutual agreement with Liverpool the most pleasant destination, it takes a major project, it’s Italy or abroad, we do not have any favorites, no exceptions.”
The 24-year-old had a successful loan spell at Sunderland before returning to Liverpool last season, scoring 7 goals in 32 appearances with the Mackems.
