Sampdoria have redeemed the loan of Argentine defender Matias Silvestre, keeping him on board after a satisfactory season.
Silvestre arrived last summer on loan from Inter, after having been on loan at AC Milan the season prior.
The 30-year-old managed to convince the Samp hierarchy however, helping them on to a seventh place finish.
The player’s agent, Cosentino Piccolillo, accompanied Silvestre for his contract signing. The Argentine centre-back penned a two-year deal with Samp, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
Silvestre made 29 appearances for Sampdoria last season.
