Premier League side Arsenal will hold talks with the agent of Juventus striker Fernando Llorente.
Llorente moved to Turin in 2013, but after two seasons with the Bianconeri the Spaniard has found himself surplus to requirements due the arrivals of Simone Zaza, Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic to the club.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Llorente’s agent has flown to London to meet with representatives of the Gunners in an attempt to finalise a deal.
The Bianconeri are thought to want around €12 million for the former Athletic Club forward.
The North London side, however, will face competition with Porto, Real Madrid, AS Monaco and Tottenham Hotspur also interested in the 30-year-old.
It is believed Llorente would prefer to move back to Spain with Real Madrid but no official approach has been made by the Spanish club.
