Marc Bartra BarcelonaBarcelona are unlikely to let defender Marc Bartra leave the Camp Nou this summer.

The 24-year-old had been attracting interest from Napoli but it now seems certain that he will remain with the Champions League winners.

According to Rai Sport, the Blaugrana have confirmed that the Spaniard is a required backup to the first team starters and therefore is not on the market.

Bartra has been on the first team fringes for the Catalan giants since making his first appearance in 2010. Last season he accumulated 25 appearances, helping the club in a memorable season which included winning the Champions League, La Liga and Copa del Rey.

The Partenopei are also looking to offload striker Eduardo Vargas. The Chilean is reportedly close to moving to French club Marseille. L’OM are chasing a replacement for Andre-Pierre Gignac and after loan spells with Valencia and Queens Park Rangers, a deal for Vargas could be reached in the not too distant future.
