Victor Obinna could be set for a return to Serie A this summer with Bologna and Frosinone both interested in securing his signature.

The former Chievo and Inter forward is a free agent after he was one of three players to have been released by Lokomotiv Moscow after the end of the Russian Premier League season.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 28-year-old is dreaming of a return to Italy and was accompanied by his entourage for meetings in Milan about his future on Thursday.

Bologna and Frosinone are both believed to be looking to sign the Nigerian in order to strengthen their attacking options after securing promotion from Serie B last season.

Obinna last featured in Serie A on-loan at Chievo during the second half of the 2013-14 season after arriving for a second spell at the Stadio Bentegodi on transfer deadline day.
