Newly-promoted Carpi have announced the loan signing of Chelsea full-back Wallace.
The Biancorossi achieved a remarkable feat last season winning Serie B, and have been busy this summer trying to strengthen ahead of a potentially difficult first season in Serie A.
The deal was announced via the club’s official website. Carpi have managed to secure an option to buy the Brazilian at the end of the loan deal.
The 21-year-old joined the English Premier League side from Fluminense in 2013, but has yet to make a competitive appearance for the Blues.
The Brazilian spent last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, and also spent the 2013/14 season with Italian side Inter but only made three substitute appearances.
