New Manchester United signing Matteo Darmian has admitted it is a dream come true to join the English side.
The Italian international spent four years at Torino before joining United and he thanked the Torino fans for his time at the club.
“It is a dream come true to join Manchester United.” Darmian told United’s official website.
“I had a great time at Torino.
“I want to thank all the fans and everyone at the club for four amazing years in Turin.
“I am sure they will understand that I had to accept the offer of joining the world’s biggest club.
“To work with Van Gaal, who has achieved so much in football, is an exciting opportunity for me.”
