Fiorentina vice-president Paolo Panerai has hit out at Inter, stating the Nerazzurri should be relegated for their attempts to land Viola forward Mohamed Salah.

Things between the Egyptian and the Gigliati have turned sour after the 23-year-old informed the Viola that he does not want to stay with the club in favour of a move to another Italian club.

With Inter the leading candidate to land the Chelsea owned forward, Panerai took to Twitter to hit out at the Nerazzurri while claiming they have broken Financial Fair Play rules.

“Dear Giovanni (Malago), Salah is the final straw. We can no longer tolerate that signatures and rules are worth nothing.

“If football clubs were to respect transparency, Inter would have already been relegated. Whose money is it, starting from the Cayman Islands?

“Platini knows that Inter have broken the Fair Play rules. For Salah and other signings who cost millions. This is a chance to make an example of them.”
