Former AC Milan and Manchester City striker Robinho has joined Chinese Super League outfit Guangzhou Evergrande on a six-month deal.

The 31-year-old endured a tumultuous time at the Rossoneri where he scored 25 goals in 108 appearances in a five-year spell at the San Siro outfit.

The Brazilian International will join up with compatriot and 2002 World Cup winning coach Luis Felipe Scolari at the four-times reigning Chinese champions, who was appointed as manager last month after the sacking of Italian Fabio Cannavaro after less than half a season in charge.

Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has also been a key signing for Scolari this summer, joining the club at the end of June and has since made two appearances for the club.

Robinho initially made a name for himself as a youngster at Santos before making 101 appearances in a three-year spell at Real Madrid.

The 31-year-old then made 41 appearances in two seasons at Premier League outfit Manchester City before moving to AC Milan in 2010, and spent last season out on loan at boyhood club Santos.

Robinho, who recently participated in the Copa America, will wear the number 60 shirt for the Chinese outfit.
