Former and Manchester City striker has joined Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande on a six-month deal.

The 31-year-old endured a tumultuous time at the Rossoneri where he scored 25 goals in 108 appearances in a five-year spell at the outfit.

The Brazilian International will join up with compatriot and 2002 winning coach Luis Scolari at the four-times reigning Chinese champions, who was appointed as manager last month after the sacking of Italian Fabio Cannavaro after less than half a season in charge.

Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has also been a key signing for Scolari this summer, joining the club at the end of June and has since made two appearances for the club.

initially made a name for himself as a youngster at before making 101 appearances in a three-year spell at Real Madrid.

The 31-year-old then made 41 appearances in two seasons at outfit Manchester City before moving to in 2010, and spent last season out on loan at boyhood club Santos.

Robinho, who recently participated in the Copa America, will wear the number 60 shirt for the Chinese outfit.
