Turkish club Galatasaray are preparing a move for Inter players Fredy Guarin and Gary Medel.
Both players made over 25 appearances for the Nerazzurri in last season’s Serie A campaign, but could be moved on as Inter try to fund their transfer dealings.
“I enquired about signing Gary Medel, he is a player I like a lot, but it’s complicated.” Galatasaray manager, Hamza Hamzaoglu told Turkish newspaper Millet.
Galatasaray are preparing a deal that would see Felipe Melo return to the Serie A with Inter in exchange for Medel and Guarin.
This move could trigger a real derby as reports suggest local rivals Fenerbahce are also interested in Guarin.
Medel is also being linked with a move to English side Liverpool while Guarin is being tracked by Italian champions Juventus.
