Inter have agreed a deal with Manchester City for striker Stevan Jovetic, with the former Fiorentina forward set to undergo a medical with the Nerazzurri by Tuesday.

The Montenegrin will sign a 12-month loan agreement with Roberto Mancini’s side for a  €3 million fee after which Inter will be legally obligated to complete a permanent deal worth €12m next summer, whilst the English Premier League side may receive an additional €3m if Inter qualify for the Champions League next season.

The club confirmed via their official Twitter account that a deal had been struck for the 25-year-old, who will fly to Milan on Monday before completing his medical the following day.

It read: “@stevanj35 will arrive in Milan tomorrow before undergoing a medical on Tuesday #FCIM”

Jovetic joined Manchester City from Fiorentina two years ago, but has failed to make an impact for the English Premier League side, making just 28 league appearances since making the switch to the Etihad Stadium.
